Daily inspiration, base colours

There is a lot going on here, despite the calm colour spectrum. I like the long sofa or possibly a couple of sofas in a row. The base colours are stunning together & creates harmony in the whole room. Black, beige & white, that is my melody. A few striped cushions gives a little more life & dimension to the interior.

Daily inspiration, coat

This coat in long blazer-like model in black is just gorgeous. It’s nicely layered underneath so that the style is emphasised further. Simple & stylish, yes!

Daily inspiration, grey

We are right now thinking of removing the office function in one of the rooms at home.We mostly use laptops & sits wherever it fits in time & place. We do not   use the room so much as it is now. So it will probably be a sofa in front of fireplace instead. A grey I think. But my darling are more considering turquoise, bright bright turquoise. So therefore I am in no rush right now 🙂

Transparent living

Doors, cabinets & dividers in glass does very much for the impression of a place. Instead of obscuring parts of the room, it opens up for an airier experience. Such as a window in the correct location, or a large room divided by a glass partition or why not by a cabinet with glass doors.  It creates a different perspective of the room & provide great atmosphere as a whole.

Kitchen cabinets, whether it’s the top line or bottom, that are transparent throughout i.e. with glass on all sides, is amazingly refreshing & feels relatively new too. It requires a wise sense of order, for such an option. (take a look at the 9th image with glass cabinets on the wall). So my point is that glass dividers can contribute greatly to the comfort of a home. It’s nice & makes surfaces more bright & accessible.

Daily inspiration, soft pink accent

Yes, I know I repeat myself in regards to textiles. But they are such an important part of a home, that it’s unavoidable. Moreover, it is a passion, even though I nowadays don’t shop uncontrollably but is careful not to buy unless it’s absolutely necessary. Dark blue & white in combination with soft pink accents – it’s not bad at all. If you see what I mean 🙂
