I’m not personally that fond of animal attributes in rooms, rather opposite actually. But browsing internet, I came up with a lot of images with animal heads, horns, paws on coffee tables, skin rugs etc. There’s a big amount of people who likes this style. As usual, I’m not judging whether it’s right or wrong. That is up to each one to decide. I’m simply stating the fact. I’ve put together a variety of images that are rather simple & basic. It’s also one type of animal theme – zebra & with the black & white colours as well as stripes, this fits in most environments, when well done.

Hej friends,

Black & white, something I return to regularly because it’s so nice, so pleasing to the eye & so uncomplicated. I do know & understand that some find it boring & predictable but that’s ok really. It’s always good with different opinions. Although I’m fond of functionality & consider it important, I’m drawn to styled images. I like when colour, material, composition etc is the driving factor..much as in the old-time storefronts / shopwindows. I think it’s important that the imagination is allowed to flow … as in haute couture. Cat walks isn’t so much about being able to wear those garments, it’s much more about the show, surprise, excitement – simply to offer an experience to the audience. It’s genuinely wonderful with homes, interiors & home decor that’s well thought out, functional & inviting. But, I at least, believe that we need those “cat walks” in this business also. A contrast, so to speak, to all that is constructive, workable, common, explainable – even when it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Let’s hope that you will find some of this images enjoyable, no matter functionality or styling…after all, it’s in black & white :)
