Here comes a break in the eternal blogging about textiles, to you in need of another inspiration. But I’m soooooon back with a new post about textiles. One of my favoutire things is servng trays as well as serving trolleys. When it comes to trolleys, I would end up in way too many if space permitted. They are so extremly flexible & mobile. Good not only as a support-surface but also as a great friend in the kitchen. By the way, it’s not just limited to the kitchen. It’s excellent in the bathroom, the living room, on the patio … wherever you are in needed really. The laundry room or garage is not to belittle either. The only place I would avoid is the children’s room. It’s not safe because of the wheels or to climb on, which would certainly attract these little people. Anyway, I just love these serving trolleys, which you
surely have guessed already.
Although I mentioned that they’re not appropriate in children’s rooms, we had such to our guy when he was little. It was high with four shelves just enough for the plastic boxes, that we stored inside. Perfect for the thousands of Lego pieces that otherwise might have ended up everywhere (which of course they did anyway) & for all the annoying little things that were current at that time. Much later, when our guys demanded their bedtime stories, we used it to store many of their books. It hung on a long time, that particular trolley.
So you could certainly say that it was a good friend on wheels, indeed. We did not even dare mention to the children that we threw it when we moved abroad. It was forgotten over time because we lived temporarily in a apartment hotel before our household goods were shipped over & we got permanent living. Some things dissolves by itself with time :)
Take care / Marie
