Hej hej,
Spring is in the air, at least here in Sydney. It’s time to store away things that’s not going to be needed for a long time & bring out all summer clothes, shoes & bags. With that in mind, I collected some images that fits into the theme. I know that back home autumn is around the corner, if not there already. But this post works anyway – storing summer clothes & bring out the wintry ones. We all have our taste & preferences – every closet looks different. On the outside as well as on the inside. Not only because of taste, but also because of surface area, price, material, solution, colours etc. I prefer to combine closed storage with open shelves plus hooks in rows for all small stuff such as bags & scarves. I don’t use boxes so often, even though I’m fond of them. Simply because I forget the content inside plus that I don’t bother to take the time to pull them down or put them up again. It’a not a practical solution, I guess.
Anyway, we now have the opportunity to clean out all the old that has survived all the moves so far, through the years. We finally bought a house after having rented various houses for a number of years. Admittedly pleasant houses but it’s still nice to be able to paint walls & put up shelves etc. Especially not having to move each & every two years. The move will take place about six weeks. It will be exciting to see what we are going to agree about…what should accompany us to the next home & what to be discarded or given away. So far it has been difficult to part with some things that are associated with memories but still unusable. We’ll see how we succeed this time :)
