Hej dear friends,
I’m back wearing grey with white & black simply because it’s such a classy colour. What got me started this time, were all knitted socks in grey tones which I got when my in-laws came to visit. I had ordered a number in advance that I asked them to take with them. In saying ordered, grandma went ahead when she got the message, knitting non stop. A whole bag of socks in different sizes & all in different Grey yarn & pattern. During winter here in Sydney, we almost fought within the family about those few we had. It’s crazy cold indoor & the raw cold enters from all the window cracks & under the front door. Houses are not designed & built in the same manner as in Europe, in order to keep the cold out. If you keep your feet warm, you’ll be able to keep your whole body warm too – as simple as that!
We had two pairs of knitted socks in the family … the kind that we use inside the ski- boots … & those of us who got hold of them first, made the other two unhappy. My dear husband tried to say that he was the head of the family, as if that ever has been a sufficiently good reason for anyone. Well, that’s history now & we have, to say the least, enough socks for several years ahead now.
But, but, anyway, these socks were the reason I became inspired to post some pictures in different grey color. So here you are – ready to discover grey elegance.
