The festivities have begun, in any case within retail with regards to Christmas…or actually began long ago, to be honest. It’s way too early & gets a little boring in the long run – it’s a stressful & super commercial phenomenon. Everyone seems to want more & once they have gotten it, they want to have even more. Stores are not only full, they are on the bursting point. I’m as fascinated each year, indeed.
It may sound like I dislike Christmas but it is the opposite in fact. I adore all these festivities when I’m together with my beloved ones. It’s wonderful & I enjoy every moment of it. We have a sweet tradition since our guys were kids that we still are doing. We watch Christmas movies throughout December, one every night until Christmas Eve. We lit candles, bring out blankets & pillows & tuck ourselves into the sofas…it’s wonderful & no one wants to miss it even though we’ve seen these movies over & over again. Pure delight of the simple style - that’s festive joy to me.
