Wherever I lay my hat / 46

Hej, remember the song: wherever I lay my hat, that’s my home? Well, it seems to be an old true, it’s more homy with hats around, for some reasons. I guess it’s a decorative thing as well as telling a story & reminding about the good old days…when it was more common to use hats. For some reasons, hats looks right & nice in the hallway, romantic in the bedroom, fun detail in the bath room, charming in the garden. The main purpose these days is to use them as sun protection or just to look cool. We ought to use more hats than we do. It’s very attractive & can look both stylish, cute, tough or nice…depending on the wearer. It’s fun with hats, get out & buy yourself a pair. They serve you well in both wet as well as dry weather, in heat & cold. Or simply use them at home in different rooms as decoration. Here are some tips!

We need some beautiful boxes to store them in & the boxes in them selfs are nice enough / IKEA

Or how about an attractive man to fill up the hat / Peaks of perfection

Make it a little romantic in the hall, on the way in or out / Interiors of the world

A small hat collection on the dresser maybe – nice with the hat support on the left / Greige interior design

As a scene taken from a movie in the forties – with dramatic effect / Greige interior design

Brigitte Bardot in a hat is not at all bad, indeed / Google

Nice set up with in the hallway with slightly different attribute to set the mood & create ambience / Interior of the world

Another way to create something nice with hats, simple & neat / Interiors of the world

A corner in the hallway who came to good use, right? / House to home

Take care/ Marie

Hats on a wall or any other place add so much warmth to a room. I even made a post on decorating with hats some time ago. Love them!
