Hej, I ‘m renting as you know & I would really love to have a nice functional kitchen. Can’t do anything about that right now but it’s important – you know, the kitchen is considered to be the heart of the home. But there is a a but, I do believe the dining room often is underestimated as heart of the home. That’s the central point in the house. Everything happens around the dining table. From sitting down for a rest, to do school work, discuss, read, eat, play games. It’s a fun area to furnish & I think I have tried almost everything to make it look good & inviting…wherever we have lived. I have had one big large table dominating the area, two lengths in line, several small, two next each other. Same with chairs, mixed models, colours, various stools etc. It’s almost the case that people end up at the dinner table at the end of the evening or stays in that same spot the whole evening. It becomes like a meeting point. My children used to sit under the table at dinner parties, to be close but not visible. We have space enough today to put two dining tables in a row, after another, creating an area that is common in a natural way. It enables the kitchen problem to not become urgent, urgent…
